Our Story
We launched Ice Maker King with one mission: to make it easier to find the best ice maker for your needs. We’re all huge ice fans, and it’s safe to say none of us could survive without our ice machines!
Despite how many people we know who love their ice machines, we found that buying one is surprisingly frustrating. Big sites like Amazon list hundreds or even thousands of models but don’t offer filters specific to ice makers.
Want to find an ice maker that fits a particular height and depth, produces nugget ice and has a water line? Good luck, there’s no easy way to do that.
To our surprise, there wasn’t a single website that offered advanced filters for ice makers. Without filters, you’d have to check every listing manually to see if it fits your criteria, and we knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we teamed up to build the largest ice maker comparison site on the internet, with the most advanced filtering tools you’ll find anywhere.
We built this site in our free time. Even in the age of AI, coding a website like this from the ground up takes a lot of time and effort. And once the site was up, we were only halfway there: each ice maker had to be added manually, with all its details carefully collected by hand. Only the product images and prices update automatically through an API. We’ve spent countless hours designing the site and building out our growing database of ice makers.
Our Roadmap
We’re still in beta and working hard to improve the site every day. Right now, we only list products available on Amazon. While this covers most ice makers on the market, our goal is to expand and include models from other stores too. At the moment, our backend and API setup limit us to Amazon, but that’s something we plan to change as we grow.
We’re also continuously adding more ice makers to our database to give you the best selection and the most up-to-date information possible.
